• posted by Chris Buckley on Friday, 29 January 2010 08:39
We're pleased to announce that we've been commissioned to create a brand new website for promising young racing driver Alex Walker.

Alpine Racing, the company promoting Alex, chose us to design & develop the website and we're excited to start work straight away on the site. Our design team will be getting their thinking caps on in order to produce some stunning visuals worthy of Alex's potential. The next Lewis Hamilton? He's certainly in with a good chance.

Alex began Karting in the cadet class and was 2nd in the British Championship in 2007. He also was the 2007 Kartmasters Grand Prix champion. In 2008 he was the TVKC club champion in KF3, and in 2008 he was 6th in Formula Karting Stars. Alex is run by Williams Motorsport.

Merry Christmas from Web Vitality

• posted by Chris Buckley on Wednesday, 16 December 2009 08:50
The last couple of months have been a busy period for the team at Web Vitality as we've moved into a new office, expanded our team and have recently invested in a fast new server to host our websites.

Since we started a few years back, we've grown from a company only doing web design into one who now provide full search engine optimisation, Google Adwords, e-commerce sites, email marketing, graphic design, as well as copywriting and a host of other services.

We're constantly growing, yet at the same time we're smart enough to know where our roots lie, and that means a continued level of high quality customer service, and a dedication to quality that enables us to meet the demands of larger and larger clients.

Over the last two years, we've created sites catering for singers, luxury holidays, dream bathrooms, ingenious wrapping ideas, cheap airport parking, swine flu, and even punk rock videos!

We'd like to say thanks to our customers for choosing to work with us over the past few years and for trusting us with their website and SEO campaigns. Without you, we wouldn't be where we are today, so we're very, very grateful.

Word is continuing to go round about the quality of our work, and we're currently the only gold ranked web design company in Manchester as featured on Which Web Design Company.

If you have any questions about our company or the services we provide, please give us a call or send us an email. We're a friendly bunch and won't bite. We promise!

Have a fantastic Christmas break and a great new year!

Brand New Super-fast Web Server launched

• posted by Chris Buckley on Sunday, 15 November 2009 15:15
We've just taken ownership of a new super-fast web server, which will soon take over from our current server for all of our customers websites and email accounts.

The new server will give all our clients faster response times, zippier emails, and a much-faster all-round experience.

We're dedicated to providing the best possible service that we can at Web Vitality, and that applies both to our customer service level of communication and response, as well as the physical hosting of all our websites.

The roll-out and transferral of customer websites and emails will take place over the coming weeks, and we don't expect there to be any downtime at all, so it should be a fairly pleasant and transparent experience.

New Danyl Johnson Blog / Fansite Launched

• posted by Chris Buckley on Monday, 19 October 2009 18:15
We're proud to present our latest site, a new blog / fansite all about the current X-Factor star, Danyl Johnson. We were approached by fan of Danyl's regarding setting up a blog on which he could then post frequent news and updates. We chose Blogger as the platform from which to run the site off, and designed a custom skin to run over the top - giving the site a real quality feel.

Boasting, news, videos, information and comments, the site is quickly gaining popularity, particularly with this current series of X-Factor receiving large viewing figures.

New Web Vitality Website launched!

• posted by Chris Buckley on Wednesday, 7 October 2009 21:26
After months of hard graft, we're proud to present our new and upated website. We hope you like it!

Our old site had served us well for just over 2 years, but it was in desperate need of a revamp. However, we had a lot of praise on the simplistic aesthetics of the last site that we didn't change the look too drastically.

We left the subtle white and blue colouring, and also kept the basic structure and feel. The site was widened however, and we created a larger "page feature" area to give each page a stronger focus and uniqueness. Viewing the old site on cheaper monitors also tended to lighten the blues too much, so we made them slightly darker. Some tighter detailing, larger graphics and font size, and voila.

So, nothing too drastic, but the new site benefits tremendously from our revamp. We haven't stopped there too - we'll shortly be introducing some nifty flash graphics to give the site some "oomph", and leave a fantastic first impression. Nothing too heavy of course - in keeping with our style the graphics and load times will be slick and stylish, yet optimised and fast to load.

We'll be keeping this blog updated as often as can from now on, so you can expect updates on our latest sites, new customers, techy news and general thoughts. Also, please give a warm welcome to our newest member of the team - Dominic Marsat, who has joined us in the position of Senior Developer.

Dominic boasts tremendous experience in the industry, and we are looking forward to seeing his influence over our future site developments. Welcome to the company Dom! Being an experienced blogger himself, no doubt you'll all soon become familiar with some posts of his own.

Cheers,

Chris.
